Carrefour opens at Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi

 Carrefour, Europe's largest retailer open to the public at Dalma Mall on 14th  October 2009.

 General Manager of Dalma Mall, Mark Adams said "It's an incredible achievement  by Carrefour to open their newest store in Abu Dhabi.  This is the largest  Carrefour in Abu Dhabi and less than a twenty minute drive for anyone on the  mainland and most of Abu Dhabi island.

 Situated in the Al Ain-Tarif Highway in the Specialized Economic Zone, Carrefour  will serve Al Raha, Officer's City, Khalifa A, Khalifa B, Mohammed  bin Zayed City,  Beni Yas and the whole of mainland Abu Dhabi.

 "No longer will people need to be stuck on the Maqtar or Musaffah bridges to get  their favorite brands at low prices.  Just a short drive and then a covered car  park - what could be easier?

 When asked about what he expects on Wednesday, Adams said "We have many  people calling every day asking when - now we can say Wednesday... this  weekend is going to be a big one and we can't wait to welcome all the new  shoppers.

 "Carrefour is an unbeatable retailer and Dalma Mall is truly thrilled to have the  store open on Wednesday.  The ease of access is unrivaled, we have access  from the highway, thousands of covered car parks and a great location.
